Who We Are
The evidence of the long term financial consequences of climate change, racial inequity, and other issues is continuing to mount. There is a growing need for state and municipal Treasurers, Comptrollers, Controllers, and Auditors to address these material risk factors as part of their fiduciary duty to their constituents, both current and future, as the consequences of not doing so impacts financial returns and the economy as a whole.
For the Long Term (FTLT) is working with state and key municipal Treasurers, Comptrollers, Controllers, and Auditors across the country to support them as they address this challenge, and is quickly becoming the conduit that connects these officials with organizations and investors seeking to ensure the long term sustainability of our economy.
While other organizations are bringing together state and municipal Treasurers, Comptrollers, Controllers, and Auditors with shared interests, FTLT is going beyond that to assemble public and private sector stakeholders with shared goals in mind and the collective means to accomplish them. FTLT is also sharing the ideas and accomplishments of our network to ensure that innovation spreads virally.
